"Vaccination against multiple myeloma with Vaccibodies from experimental immunology to patients"

Multiple myeloma (MM) cells produce a particularly good target for immune attack, i.e. the unique myeloma protein produced by the MM cells. We are developing a novel type of vaccine, Vaccibodies, which seems to elicit strong immune responses against myeloma protein in a mouse model. Vaccinated mice are protected against a challenge with MM cells. We wish to tailor make Vaccibodies for individual MM patients and test these clinical trials.
