This project examines whether cytokines (chemicals to boost an immune response) can improve the response to dendritic cell vaccines for myeloma. Detailed studies of the immune system function before and after vaccination with dendritic cells and cytokine treatments are being conducted. The aim of the study is to better understand how to improve antimyeloma vaccines in the future.
