Because the MMRF is a volunteer-driven organization, 90 percent of funds raised are channeled directly into supporting pivotal multiple myeloma research and related programming.

We are always in need of volunteers at the office and on our events. If you live in the Connecticut-New York-New Jersey Tri-State Area we have the following available volunteer opportunities:

• Data Entry
• Information packet assembly
• Mailing preparation (In house or take home)

• Race Captains
  Recruit and form a team from your area. Motivate friends, family, co-workers, and employers to participate and get involved with fundraising
• Sponsorship
  Contact local companies and businesses for sponsorship
• Donations
  Secure donations in-kind for goodie bags and race day snacks
• Promotions
  Assist with publicity to local papers, radio stations or magazines. Distribute brochures and posters
• Race Day Organization
  Work as a greeter, course marshal, finish line attendee, or in registration or goodie bag preparation
• Other

• Auction
  Solicit high-end items for silent/live auction
  Prepare table displays or write descriptions for silent auction
• Office Assistance
  Assemble packets and mailings
• Corporate Sponsorship
  Contact local companies for sponsorship
