Dear Friends:
Thank you for visiting the Krall Family Fund of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF). It is with great enthusiasm that we partner with the MMRF to create this fund in memory of our mother, Adella Krall, who in 2002 passed away following a brave and graceful journey with multiple myeloma.
Our mother once quoted a sports figure who said, "We can't always prevent things that happen to us, but we can choose our response". Her response to multiple myeloma was that of a reluctant, but courageous, traveler. She viewed her treatments as necessary forays in her journey that allowed her to return home, enriched and thankful, to her family. Our mother felt very fortunate for the recent scientific advances that extended her life, allowing her to spend invaluable time with her precious family.

We know our mother would be extremely proud of this partnership. The MMRF served as a guidepost on our mother's journey with multiple myeloma, providing her with a tremendous source of support and inspiration. She wholeheartedly believed that progress in multiple myeloma would only be made with an increased commitment to research. The MMRF's unwavering dedication to funding the world's most promising myeloma research provided a great deal of hope, not only to our mother, but for our entire family.
Our mother was incredibly dedicated to speaking publicly about living with multiple myeloma, and often solicited the help of Diana's fame as a celebrated jazz musician, to raise much-needed awareness and funds for the disease. It is our greatest hope that the Krall Family Fund will build upon our mother's efforts and will result in not only increased public awareness of the disease, but also in the development of new, lifesaving treatments for myeloma patients worldwide.
Your generosity in supporting the Krall Family Fund will not only honor our mother's spirit, but will have a direct impact on tens of thousands of families affected by multiple myeloma. Please consider joining us as we continue alongside the MMRF in their steady and dedicated path towards the cure.
Sincerely,
Diana Krall and Michelle Krall Wigmore
