Silent Auction Rules

A bid is entered by printing your name, bidder number, phone number and the
amount of your bid on the bid sheet in front of the corresponding item. Bids
below minimum bid will not be accepted.

Bids should be in whole dollars and must equal or exceed the minimum bid
stated on the bid sheet. Succeeding bids must exceed the previous bid by the
minimum increment stated on the bid sheet.

An announcement will be made both ten and five minutes before the closing of
the silent auction. The highest bidder at the close of the silent auction will be
the winner of the item.

Payment must be made in full before leaving the premises. Payment must be
made by cash, check, MasterCard, VISA or American Express. Checks must be
made out to "The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation".

All sales are final and there will be no exchange or refund on items except
where specified. All items and services are donated and are being sold "as is".
The Friends for Life Committee make no warranties or representations
whatsoever in respect to such items and services. MMRF and the Friends for
Life Committee are not responsible for changes made by donor.

Unless otherwise specified, all auction items and services must be redeemed
no later than October 27, 2008. MMRF is not responsible for lost or expired
certificates.

All Silent Auction items purchased must be removed on the evening of the
Auction by the purchaser. A "PAID" receipt from the checkout table will be
issued to the purchaser when items have been paid in full at which time the items
will be given to the purchaser. MMRF and the Friends for Life Committee are
not responsible for items left behind.

Resale of auction items is not permitted. Certificates are not transferable.
In the event of any dispute, the auction chair shall have the sole discretion to
determine the successful bidder.

The checkout table for Silent Auction items will be opened at 10:30 p.m. or
when announced by the Host.
