Online Donations
You can now quickly and safely donate to the MMRF online using your credit card. Just click "DONATE now" and the top of any page on this Web site.
Cash Donations
Usually in the form of a check or credit card transaction, cash donations are the most popular form of support. Just make out a check payable to the MMRF and send to 383 Main Avenue, 5th floor, Norwalk, CT 06851 or, for credit card donations email or call the office manager at info@themmrf.org or 203-972-1250.
Matching Gifts
You can multiply your dollars given for myeloma research contributing to the MMRF through your company's "Matching Gifts" plan. Many companies will contribute to worthy nonprofits on behalf of their employees through "Matching Gifts" programs. Start by contacting your personnel office or human resources office. It generally handles the processing of matching gifts and often has company forms that you complete and submit to the MMRF. Please let your employer know you support the MMRF. Encouraging your company to become a corporate donor may be easier than you think. And, no matter what the size of the donation, it all adds up.
Donations of Securities
If you hold appreciated securities, you can "gift" them to the MMRF. This form of giving often provides the donor with a tax deduction on the current value of the securities without any capital gain implications. Planned and Deferred Gifts
The MMRF receives financial support from many friends who choose to make planned and deferred gifts to the foundation. Each year, we learn of supporters who have made provisions for us in their wills, and some donors make contributions through charitable gift annuities. Planned giving is a form of donating to the MMRF that benefits you and your family personally while ensuring that MMRF will have the resources to carry out its mission in the years to come. We encourage you to speak with your attorney, to help you plan a lasting gift to the MMRF that best suits the needs of you and your family.
