Title:  
Allogeneic CD34+ Selected Peripheral Blood Cell Infusion Following Nonmyeloablative Chemotherapy in Patients with Multiple Myeloma
Phase:  
I
Purpose:  
To determine the lowest dose of chemotherapy necessary for successful engraftment of donor cells while decreasing the risk of graft vs host disease (GVHD)
Eligibility:  
  • Diagnosis of multiple myeloma
  • Older than 18
  • Related or unrelated donors identical at certain loci
Treatment:  
Patients receive 4 days of chemotherapy and then stem cell infusion. Patients can expect weekly clinic visits and immunosuppressive drugs for the first 60 to 90 days posttransplant. Then evaluations at 6 and 12 months with donor leukocyte infusion (DLI) if there is no GVHD.
